Friday Free Market

Every second Friday of the month, the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), in partnership with CANV and local service organizations, hosts a “Free Market” offering a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables at our South Campus location. The produce is free and market is open to everyone!

Meals on Wheels

Home-bound frail seniors who still live in their own home may benefit from a home-delivered daily meal. Volunteer Meals on Wheels drivers bring a nutritious meal along with some lively conversation. Volunteers check-in with seniors each day, make sure they’re doing well, and bring food to continue to live a healthy life. Drivers may also offer seniors Community Action’s Wellness on Wheels program giving regular visits from a registered nurse to help stay healthy.

Senior Brown Bag Program

Enables seniors age 60 or older to remain independent as long as possible by giving them a “Brown Bag” with approximately 10 to 14 food items twice a month. Items may include fresh fruit, canned vegetables, oatmeal, bottled beverages, pasta and canned meat. Seniors pick up Brown Bags from 11 sites throughout Napa County, or volunteer drivers deliver food to those who are infirm or disabled.
